  • A large framed screen print from ca. 1996 by the Dutch artist and pop artist Herman Brood (1946-2001).
    -Hand signed in silver marker by Herman Brood and numbered in pencil: no. 428 of 500, Limited Edition.
    -Framed in the original black aluminum frame with passe-partout and glass plate. Can be mounted on the wall.
    -Dimensions: Frame, 71 x 91 x 2 cm. Image, approx. 51 x 68 cm.
    -Provenance: Published by ' Bread & Games ', ArenA Amsterdam . The screen print comes with a numbered certificate (no. 428) with the printed signatures of Herman Brood and Jan Gaasterland (see the last 3 photos). Jan Gaasterland (1942-2008) was chairman of the board of the ArenA from 1994 to 2000. The screen print will therefore be from that period.
    - Condition: The screen print and the passe-partout are in very good condition. The black aluminum frame has wear spots.

    In addition to being a singer, Hermanus (Herman) Brood (1946-2001) was also a painter, pianist, actor and author. He was distinguished by his distinctive singing voice and musical diversity. He was the Dutch embodiment of the credo Sex, drugs & Rock 'n' Roll.
