Jacobus Antonius Martinus (Jack) Harden (Hoensbroek, 1935 – 2002, Deurne) was een Nederlands schilder, tekenaar, dichter en beeldhouwer. Toen Harden op negenjarige leeftijd, vlak na de Tweede Wereldoorlog, bij zijn oom en bekend (textiel)kunstenaar Willi Martinali kwam wonen, werd zijn interesse voor kunst gewekt. Martinali werd zijn leraar en geestelijk vader. De stijl van Harden is dan ook verwant aan die van Martinali, de werken uitgevoerd in materialen als acrylverf, olieverf en cellulose op masonite board, vaak voorzien van filosofische titels. Al op negentienjarige leeftijd had Harden zijn eerste expositie in het Van Abbemuseum te Eindhoven. Later maakte hij naast werken op paneel ook muurschilderingen in allerlei (openbare) gebouwen en bij particulieren. Daarnaast stimuleerde hij opkomende kunstenaars tijdens hun carrière. Vlak voor zijn dood begon hij, na een mindere periode, weer met tekenen. Zijn schilderwerken voorzag hij regelmatig van teksten op de achterzijde, soms in spiegelschrift geschreven. Werk van Harden is in vele malen in binnen- en buitenland tentoongesteld. Het werk is afkomstig uit een museumcollectie. Eventuele schade en oneffenheden zichtbaar op de foto’s maken onderdeel van de beschrijving. Bezichtiging is uiteraard mogelijk.
