Schilderij komt van mijn Opa, Evert Jansen, die samen met Ko Scheffer suppoost en beheerder was van het huis van Looy. Als dank hiervoor heeft hij diverse werken ontvangen. Een aantal hiervan zijn in het verleden door mijn vader overgedragen aan het Frans Hals museum.
