Jan Goossen (1937-2005) Beeldhouwer, tekenaar en schilder, opgeleid aan de Kunstnijverheidschool en de Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Tijdens zijn studie aan de Kunstnijverheidschool in Amsterdam werkte hij als assistent bij de beeldhouwer Wessel Couzijn. Goossen werkte in Parijs en San Francisco waar beelden van zijn hand in de publieke ruimte te vinden zijn. Na zijn terugkeer in Nederland in 1968 woonde hij in diverse plaatsen in Nederland. Zijn laatste woonplaats was sinds 2003 in Vrouwenpolder. Beelden van zijn hand staan op diverse plaatsen in Nederland en in veel bedrijfscollecties net als zijn schilderijen en tekeningen.
