Uniek werk van Jan Montyn uit 1998, aquarel en potlood, gesigneerd onderaan in het midden. Montyn verwierf faam met zijn etsen maar liet ook een mooi oeuvre na van aquarellen, tekeningen en schilderijen. Dit werk draagt geen naam maar stelt ongetwijfeld een dorp voor langs de oevers van een rivier in Zuidoost-Azie.
Het werk is ingelijst in een metaalkleurige lijst, formaat 35,5 x 25,5 cm en gevat in een dubbel passepartout. De tekening zelf 26 x 17,5 cm.
Aanbieder verwierf dit werk rechtstreeks van de kunstenaar op een tournee in Thailand waar het blijkens een sticker aan de achterzijde ook werd ingelijst.
