Jannel - Jan Nelissen (1943-2015), Highland Games - Sold

Jan Nelissen, (∗1943 – † 2015), known as JANNEL, was educated at the Academy in Antwerp. In "the roaring sixties" he completed his postgraduate training at the "National Higher Institute of Fine Arts" in Antwerp. During his studies he worked at the Royal College of Art in London and with Max Bill in Switzerland. At the end of the sixties, JANNEL moved to the Istituto Statale d'Arte per la Ceramica in Faenze in Italy, to further develop his skills in ceramic techniques. His whole life and work are in the service of ART and the transfer of knowledge. There is also much more written about him on the internet. This work is titled: Highland Games, Painted in 1982. Technique: mixed media. Signed on the bottom right. The dimensions of the work are: 44 cm x 60 cm. including the frame, the dimensions are: 69 cm x 84 cm. The whole is in perfect condition.
