pick up, with advance payment, is very spacious, in other words the buyer can do the work for weeks or even
pick it up months later and if possible combine it with a visit to one of the
the above-mentioned towns or the beach. We can also ship the work. Our shipping days are Tuesday and Thursday.

Jean Mauboulès was born on August 16, 1943 in Poey-de-Lescar in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. At the age of 19 he went to Paris where he studied architecture and took courses at the École des Beaux-Arts. Until 1966, the painting by Jean Mauboules focused on surrealism. In the sixties he switched from painting to plastic design, working with glass. Since 1968 he lives and works in the canton of Solothurn and in Paris. Since the 1970s he has created related thematic groups of collages, reliefs, sculptures and objects. Glass, iron and steel are the most common materials, but rarely wood and stone. In 1984 he exhibited at the Kunstmuseum in Bern, followed in 1986 by a retrospective at the Kunstmuseum Solothurn. In addition to Switzerland , he regularly exhibits in Germany , France , Portugal , the Netherlands and the United States . In 1987 he won the prize for living works of the canton of Solothurn, in 1996 the art prize of the canton of Solothurn and in 1997 made a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture.
