A lone fox, who had had nothing to eat for a long time and who had become very thin, came after much wandering at a vineyard. There were plenty of grapes, which hung in large clusters on the tree, ripe and very suitable for eating. Since no one was around, the fox sneaked into the vineyard. But as the fox crept slowly into the vineyard, he discovered that those delicious grapes were hanging very high. He jumped at it, but missed. He jumped again, again and again. But all his efforts were in vain. The grapes were hanging way too high. His tired body began to ache from the many attempts to satisfy his hunger.
