Mara Tran-Long (1935, Montauban, Frankrijk)
Tran-Long was al op zeer jonge leeftijd geïnteresseerd in beeldende kunst. Ze begon met schilderen toen ze 14 jaar was. Ze studeerde aan diverse kunstacademies en in 1956 had ze haar eerste permanente tentoonstelling in de Parijse galerie, Galerie Duncan. Daarna volgden vele andere tentoonstellingen in Frankrijk; ze exposeerde in Nice, Cannes en Knokke-Heist. Vanaf het jaar 2000 had Tran-Long meerdere tentoonstellingen in het buitenland; haar werk werd onder andere getoond in Los Angeles, Miami, Tokio en Brussel.
