Johannes Bernardes Wiebenga, geboren te Rotterdam 1905 en ook overleden aldaar 1987. Leerling van de Akademie v. B.K,. te Rotterdam 1919-1928 o.l.v. J. Jongert, Ch. J. Addicks, Piet Zwart en J.G. Heijberg. Van 1919 tot 1926 glasreclame, vanaf 1926 reclame ontwerper. Wiebenga schilderde, aquarelleerde en tekende Bloemen, Landschappen, Stilering, maar ook andere onderwerpen, ook veel op zijn vakantie-reizen in Europa. Schilder staat vermeld in de Pieter Scheen en Waller.
