Joseph Robers Biography
From 1973 to 1974, he studied design at the Münster University of Applied Sciences with Marijan Vojska and Emil Bert Hartwig. In 1977, he graduated as a qualified designer. Since then, he has lived in Münster as a freelance artist. Robers has presented his photographs in numerous exhibitions in Münster, The Hague, Kassel, Essen, Dortmund, Hanover, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Monte Carlo, and Luxembourg, among other cities. His works can be found in the work and reception areas of more than 50 embassies and consulates-general of the Federal Republic of Germany, including Sydney, Baghdad, Paris, Shanghai, San Salvador, and Riga. Although he also worked with acrylic on canvas, his etchings comprise the majority of his work.
