Zijn inspiratie om deze ets te maken heeft hij opgedaan tijdens zijn studiereis in Marokko.Zijn etsen werden gekenmerkt door de parallelle arcering,die in deze ets ook duidelijk te zien is.De ets is gesigneerd,voorzien van een titel met datering in potlood buiten de drukplaat. In de druk-plaat een monogram KB. Winnaar Prix de Rome in 1933,was lid van "Arti et Amicitiae" Zijn werk isaangekocht door het Singer Museum in Laren.
