Leonetto Cappiello. ZELDZAAM!!
In tegenstelling tot de honderdduizenden affiches die in verschillende maten voor dit merk gedrukt zijn, waren deze luxe kaarten uitsluitend bedoeld voor de betere winkels waar men “Parapluie Revel “ verkocht. De kaarten werden in de etalages of in de winkel aan de parapluies bevestigd.
Dit was een groot bedrijf, uit Lyon (France). Sinds 1851, dat ook internationaal een goede afzet had. (zie de laatste foto met een deels Engelse tekst.
Materiaal: Lithografie op zeer hard, met reliëf, geperst karton.
De tekening, de randen om het prijskaartje en de uiterste randen om het geheel zijn iets hoger dan de rest.
Ook het later op te plakken prijsje is in mooi reliëf gedrukt.
