Liesbeth (Elizabeth Alberta) Binkhorst (1933 - 2021) was born in Rotterdam and died in Middelburg. She was a student of Cees Bolding, Dirk van Gelder and Henk Munnik. In addition to being a painter, she is also a graphic artist, watercolorist and in the early years of her career also a drawing teacher. She is known for her landscapes, but especially for her portraits.
This lot contains 6 mixed media artworks on paper, called "Portraits". The total dimensions of all 5 artworks are 63 cm (H) X 48.5 cm (W). They are glued to the back of cardboard (passe partout) and are then 90 cm (H) x 60 cm (W).
