In 1958 Malcolm Morley left his native England and settled in New York (USA) where he met artists such as Barnett Newman, Cy Twombly, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol. His first solo exhibition was in 1964 at the Kornblee Gallery, Malcolm Morley was known as an artist who pioneered various styles, including photorealism and expressionism.
