"In this work, I wanted to capture tranquility within structure. The black cat sits quietly, almost meditatively, amidst a world of lines and color planes. The animal is a silhouette—without detail, without distraction—and precisely because of that, it acquires a power of its own.
The background is inspired by Mondrian, an artist who managed to create maximum tension with minimal means. I used his language of red, yellow, blue, and white as a backdrop, but the cat breaks that order. She is a living creature in a geometric world.
For me, the cat symbolizes observation, that moment of stillness when everything is just right. She doesn't look at us, but seems to listen to the space around her.
