The Ratinger Tor was built at the beginning of the 19th century by the building director Adolph von Vagedes, a student of Schinkel. It consists of two buildings in the classical style, reminiscent of ancient models, and is located in Düsseldorf on the border of the Pempelfort district to the city center.
