A beautiful Art Nouveau bird of prey (secretary bird?) by Francina Petronella Josephina (Nel) Bakema, dating from around 1930. Bakema studied under Richard Ronald Holst, among others. This pewter sculpture is monogrammed on the base. Its estimated weight is approximately 1 kg. In reasonably good condition.
