Nicolaas Wijnberg (1918 - 2006) was a graphic artist, painter, sculptor and choreographer.
He was educated in Amsterdam (Graphic School and National Academy of Visual Arts).
Together with Hans Snoek and Hans van Norden he founded the Scapino Ballet in 1945.
In 1947 he co-founded De Realisten, an artists' association that opposed abstract art. Nicolaas Wijnberg taught at the Academy in Amsterdam and Maastricht and won several prizes.
