Pat ANDREA (The Hague 1942) Painter, Draughtsman Education: Pat Andrea trained at the Royal Academy of Art The Hague from 1960 - 1965. Andrea currently teaches one day a week at the Academy of Visual Arts in Paris. Pat Andrea lives and works alternately in The Hague, Paris and Buenos Aires. Pat Andrea likes to make sketches based on observations and/or events from everyday life. Andrea does this with different materials such as graphite, watercolor and charcoal. He belongs to the avant-garde of Dutch art. Pat Andrea won the Jacob Maris Prize for drawing in 1964 and the Royal Subsidy for Painting in 1971. In 1979/1980 Pat Andrea designed the cover for the NS railway timetable.
