Oil on board by Paulus Verwey. Depicting a meeting between two people, with De Lange Jan and Villa Härtel in Amersfoort in the background. Year: 1987. Dimensions including frame: H78 x W63cm. Canvas dimensions: H65 x W50cm. The work is monogrammed at the bottom left by the artist. Signature on the back. The authenticity of the work offered is fully guaranteed. Frames: Damage to frames will not be documented. If a work is framed behind glass and the glass is broken, this will be noted. Photos of framed works may show reflections.
Upon purchase, the work can be picked up in 's-Gravenzande (near The Hague (Scheveningen), Rotterdam, and Delft, and 5 minutes from the beach). The pickup period, with advance payment, is very generous, meaning the buyer can pick up the work weeks or even months later and, if possible, combine it with a visit to one of the aforementioned cities or the beach. The work can also be shipped via Swift (a small art courier).
- Collection: Upon purchase, the work can be collected in 's-Gravenzande. The collection period, with advance payment, is generous. The buyer can collect the work later and, if desired, combine it with a visit to the beach (5 minutes away) or one of the nearby cities: The Hague/Scheveningen, Rotterdam, Delft.
- Shipping: Your purchased artwork can also be shipped via PostNL or an art courier. Unframed artworks are shipped rolled in a round tube wrapped in a square tube. If you'd like us to ship the artwork flat, this is possible for an additional fee.
- For framed works, we prefer collection. If this isn't possible, we'll ship the work well-packaged. However, any glass damage is not covered by insurance. We can also ship the work via courier, minimizing the risk of damage. You will receive a Track & Trace code by email upon shipment. Our shipping days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Mats/frames: Damage to frames will not be described. If the work is framed behind glass and the glass is broken, this will be noted. Mats are not guaranteed in any way and are not always included.
- Edition: The edition number in the photo may differ from the edition number mentioned above. If we have multiple copies in similar condition, we don't take a new photo for each issue.
- Processing: If you are the highest bidder, you will receive the necessary information from us by email after the auction. This will include payment details and further processing.
- Viewing: Your purchase is covered by Kunstveiling's purchase guarantee. If you would like to view a work before placing a bid, you can do so by appointment at the Kiewit Kunst office in 's-Gravenzande. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

- Legal resale right: For works with a total price (including auction fees) exceeding €3,000, a legal resale right of up to 4% applies. The resale right must be paid by the buyer. - VAT on invoice: We sell under the margin scheme. This means we are not allowed to charge VAT on our invoices.
- Color deviation: Colors may vary from actual colors. Color deviations in photos on a computer screen are caused by differences in monitor settings (brightness, contrast, color temperature), the quality and technology of the display, an inaccurate or missing color profile, and different color spaces (such as sRGB or Adobe RGB) used by cameras and software.
