Peter Sippel - 100 jaar Thyssen Stahl | gelimiteerde en gesigneerde offset - Sold

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the steel concern Thyssen (now ThyssenKrupp), artist Peter Sippel (1951) made a painted collage (mixed technique). As a promotional gift, 700 copies of these were printed as offset prints, numbered and signed by Sippel.

About the artist:
Born in 1951 in Hagen/Westphalia, the artist Peter Sippel studied from 1970 to 1977 at the art academy in Düsseldorf, where he became a master's student of Prof. Rissa in 1974. Since 1972, Peter Sippel's work has been shown at more than 100 exhibitions at home and abroad. Solo exhibitions in numerous museums and municipal galleries mark his artistic recognition, as do purchases by public collections. In 1986, with the support of the Cultural Secretariat Gütersloh SOWIP of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe, a series of exhibitions from five museums and municipal galleries in North Rhine-Westphalia came about. To this end, the city of Bergkamen has published an extensive monograph. On the occasion of a representative solo exhibition in the autumn of 1992 in the Ruhrgalerie in Essen, a current publication about Peter Sippel was published.
