Rare screen print from the well-known series 'Five Geometric Figures in Five Colors' by Sol LeWitt. Signed in the lower right corner. This screen print is not numbered.
32 "sets" were made with 25 prints each. Within each of those sets of 25, all five colors were used and all five shapes were used, according to the title of the piece. All 32 "sets" were the same, as each set of 25 had all five shapes in all five colors (25 combinations). However, these "sets" of 25 were not intended to be kept together, but were split into nearly all unique groups of five by the artist and publisher, making a total of 160 unique sets of five. 150 sets are 'multi-colored' (with some sets having more than one shape in the same color). None of these sets are numbered, as each set is unique. This screen print comes from one of these sets.
