Het werk van Tamara Dees gaat over ervaren en onderzoeken hoe het is om klein te zijn in een grote wereld - vaak de scheepswereld. De afgelopen jaren heeft ze herhaaldelijk de werkelijke grootte van schepen onderzocht, evenals de werkelijke grootte van verschillende 'grote' kunstwerken. Hoewel schepen een terugkerend kenmerk van haar werk zijn, is ze meer geïnteresseerd in wat er gebeurt naast de nautische wereld. Hoe groot zijn schepen eigenlijk en wat gebeurt er als je ze gebruikt voor een tamelijk onbedoeld doel? Ondersteboven gekeerd of gebroken....
Het aangeboden werk is een gesigneerde multiple (4/20) uit 2010, bestaande uit twee ingelijste beelden (bewerkte foto's); 18 X 13 cm per deel. Het is in uitstekende staat.
