Expressionistisch werk op canvas 2019, "Breakfast" (in serie geschilderd) van de Nederlandse kunstenaar Tanja Koelemij. Grote voorbeelden van Koelemij zijn de Post-impressionisten. Met name een losse toets en het kleurgebruik inspireren haar, maar natuurlijk gebruikt ze wel haar eigen losse handschrift in haar werk. Soms probeert ze de controle wat los te laten, snel en met grotere bewegingen en kwasten te werken. Het resultaat is vaak een energiek, losser werk van een moment opname.
Koelemij maakt hoofdzakelijk landschappen en stillevens uit haar dagelijks leven zoals zij dat ziet of zou willen zien. Beelden om in weg te kruipen of in te schuilen.
