Naast de landschappen kennen we ook zijn plasgezichten en stillevens.
Groeneveld was lid van Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam, de Maatschappij Rembrandt (Maatschappij voor Kunst en Kunstverlangenden) en de Haagse Kunstkring." .
