Een prachtig originele kunstwerk ( "zittende naakte vrouw" , houtskooltekening ) van de Nederlandse kunstenaar Ton Pape (1916-2003). Losbladig. Gemonogrammeerd rechts onder en te dateren 1979. De papier/beeldmaat is: 65 cm. x 50 cm. De conditie van het kunstwerk is goed. Het werk is te bezichtigen bij Kunsthandel Martins te Wolvega en wordt geleverd met een echtheidscertificaat.

Ton Pape (1916-2003) werd geboren te Den Haag en overleed te Rijswijk. Hij ontving zijn opleiding aan de Haagse Academie van Beeldende Kunsten. Ton Pape was een veelzijdig kunstenaar, die schilderde, tekende, en aquarelleerde. Zowel figuratief: duinlandschappen, polders en stadsgezichten etc., als abstract en ook geometrisch abstract. In zijn werk zoekt hij vooral naar ruimte. Ook heeft hij stoffen ontworpen. Hij was een bekend lid van Pulchri Studio en exposeerde op vele plaatsen.
