Een grote aquarel (108 x 75 cm) uit de 19e eeuw van een ons onbekende kunstenaar, met een voorstelling van een ‘toornige Bodhisattva’ (“wrathful Bodhisattva”), een goddelijk wezen (sattva) uit het Boeddhisme, dat naar verlichting (bodhi) streeft.
-Waterverf op papier, dat is bevestigd op een multiplex plaat. Met een rand van zijde-papier.
-Gesigneerd (?), of met een tekst (titel?) rechtsonder.
-Niet ingelijst. Jaartal onbekend.
-Afmetingen: Houten plaat, 111 x 84 cm. Aquarel, 108 x 75 cm.
-Herkomst: Uit de nalatenschap van de kunstenaar Nigel Kent (1933-2017).
-Conditie: Het papier heeft slijtplekken en heeft verschillende scheuren.
