About the artist:
Wijnand Hubertus Thönissen was born in 1940 near Roermond. He studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Maastricht. Paints, watercolors and draws. In addition to these expressions of art, Thönissen also makes metal plastics and stained glass works and often receives commissions for free space. In 1962 he received the Henriëtte Hustinx Prize.
