Particularly beautiful jug or vase by the ceramist Wilhelm (Willy) Kagel Jr. (1906-1987), son of the famous master potter Wilhelm Kagel who died in 1935. The vase has a very beautiful shape with jade green glaze and hand-carved lines. The vase is marked on the bottom with the artist's initials, as well as a sticker with a number. Wilhelm took over the Art Craft Studios (Kunsthandwerkliche Werkstätten), founded by his father in 1906, after his death and it was closed in 1988 after the death of Wilhelm Jr. in 1987.
