Willem Gerard Hofker werd in 1902 in Den Haag geboren.
Hij woonde en werkte o.a.in den Haag,Amsterdam,Ned.Indië(Zuid-Bali).Hij was leerling van de Rijksakademie te Amsterdam,en van W.Witsen.
Hofker schilderde,tekende,etste en lithografeerde.
Hij maakte talloze portretten voor particulieren en instellingen.
Hofker was lid van 'Grafische' en lid van 'Arti et Amicitiae' te Amsterdam.
Kunstwerken van W.G.Hofker o.a. in het Singer Museum te Laren (NH).
Prachtige ets, gedateerd 1947 en gesigneerd met potlood.
