NB the hand-drawn signature is from the maker Dirk Harting, the original etching contains signature and date in the plate above “WW Fecit MCMVIII”. The first edition is included as a front plate in Willem Kloos' 1908 collection “Honderd verszen” and is also exclusively signed in the plate. (possible hand signed copies later on request). In 1944, visual artist Dirk Harting made a second printing of the original plate at the request of the family, edition unknown but very limited. Signed in pencil on the back “DHarting imp.44”. Very narrow traces of removed tape at the top of the back. Otherwise, this copy is in perfect condition, completely clean and undamaged, without discolouration.
