Wim Drion (Voorburg, 1946) woont in Amsterdam en op het eiland Paros in Griekenland.
Wim: “Op Paros leef ik, in Amsterdam werk ik”.
Opleiding: Gerrit Rietveld Academie, grafisch werk en schilderen.
Was docent aan de Willem Koning Academie voor beeldende kunst en vormgeving in Rotterdam en aan de ArtEZ hogeschool voor de kunsten in Arnhem aan de opleiding voor architectuur.

Wim Drion teached architecture at the Willem Koning Academy for visual arts and design in Rotterdam and at the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Arnhem.
The paintings of Wim Drion are hanging in public buildings in Amsterdam, such as at the University of Amsterdam at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, the IJtunnel Police Station, the Querido House and the ‘West-Indisch Huis’. In other places he carried out monumental commissions (% regulation).
His work is included in the collections of major museums such as the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Stedelijk Museum of Schiedam, the Museum Boymans van Beuningen in Rotterdam, the Bonnefanten Museum in Maastricht and in the USA and the Czech Republic.
