Helder, JW Helder, Wim Helder born 1892-1966 Helder, Johan Wilhelm (Wim) was born on August 7, 1892 in The Hague and died on August 6, 1966 in Hattem. Son and pupil of the painter Johan Helder. Lived and worked in Amsterdam, The Hague, Paris until 1924, Utrecht until 1932, Geleen until 1934, Middelburg until 1942; then in Apeldoorn. Pupil of the Kunstnijverheidsschool in Utrecht and of the \"Kunstliefde\" society there; studied in Paris for 2 years (1922-1924). Painted and drew excellent portraits and figures (peasant and folk types); landscapes, flowers, etc. painted in expressionist style. Was a member of \'St. Lucas\' in Amsterdam, van \'De Kern\' in Apeldoorn, \'Pictura\' in Dordrecht, Átri et Industriae\' in The Hague. Gave lessons to H. Bunt, among others. Honorary exhibitions 1952 and 1962 in the Gemeentemuseum in Apeldoorn. Work in the possession of the Municipality of Apeldoorn, the Municipal Museum there and in the Provinciehuis in Arnhem.
