Wim Worm (Amsterdam, 1939) volgde de opleiding grafiek aan het Instituut voor Kunstnijverheidsonderwijs, en is lang als graficus werkzaam geweest met maatschappij kritische onderwerpen als Vietnam, Soweto en Nixon als onderwerp. Langzamerhand heeft het schilderen de overhand gekregen. Mythologie, sprookjes en jachtpartijen bepalen zijn voorstellingen. De man speelt daarbij een merkwaardige rol: van macho tot heilige. De hoofdrol is echter voor de vrouwen, lijven met billen en borsten. Steeds dichter bij de grond, de aarde, het wisselen der seizoenen, het dagelijkse leven. De voorstellingen ontstaan in het bos rond zijn hutje, in weer en wind. De afwerking geschiedt in zijn atelier in Amsterdam. Wim Worm was beheerder van het Amsterdams Grafisch Atelier en docent Grafiek op de Rietveld Academie.
