Prachtig werk van de japanse kunstenares Yoshiko Noma. Ets op Rives papier, met potlood gesigneerd, gedateerd (‘59) en getiteld, een Épreuve d’Artiste exemplaar. In goede conditie; in het hele blad zitten foxing plekjes, vooral aan de achterkant. Aan de voorkant van het blad minder en de plekjes in het beeld zijn niet te zien. Ingelijst met passe-partout is het werk prima.
Afmetingen: 65cm x 50cm (blad), 28cm x 24cm (beeld)
Bij aankoop kan het werk worden opgehaald in Diemen (vlakbij het kantoor van Kunstveiling in Amsterdam Z-O) of het kan goed verpakt en aangetekend verzonden worden op kosten van de koper.

Yoshiko Noma (Tokyo, Japan 1934)
Noma komt uit een familie van Japanse kunstenaars en ambachtslieden. Ze studeerde aan de Tokyo School of Fine Arts. Na haar opleiding vertrok Noma naar Frankrijk om verder te leren bij het legendarische Atelier 17 van de Britse kunstenaar en graficus Stanley William Hayter. Zij was verbonden met Atelier 17 van 1958 tot 1963, waarna ze naar Italië emigreerde waar ze nog steeds werkt en tentoonstelt.
