Zippora Sahanaja,1961.
Deze multi-kunstenares (alias Zippora Meijer) brengt alle materialen die ze aanraakt tot leven in een explosie van vorm en kleur.
Sinds het begin van de jaren ’90 timmert deze artistieke duizendpoot aan de weg, met alsmaar groeiend succes.
Ze exposeert in binnen- en buitenland, won tal van prijzen en is een vaste waarde in de Nederlandse kunst scene.
Haar schilderstijl is te classificeren als neo-expressionistisch, met sprekende kleuren op een doorgaans donkere ondergrond.
Centrale thema’s in haar werk zijn liefde en de kracht van vrouwen. Ook humor is een belangrijk aspect in haar creaties; grappige, onverwachte en unieke vondsten vinden we overal terug, zelfs in de naam van haar atelier: ‘De Nieuwe Wilden’ naar de gelijknamige Duitse kunststroming.
