Alexander Lopatkin was a Soviet painter of genre scenes and landscapes. He lived and worked in Moscow. During his years of study he occasionally visited Karelia, the Baltic countries, High north, Baikal and also central asia and crimea. Lopatkin saw his artistic credo in depicting “the fascinating magic of the ordinary life”.
His works can be found in the museums of the Russian Federation and in private collections in Russia, England, Germany and America.
