Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc (Barcelona, founded 1893)

Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc is an artists' association that emerged during the heyday of Catalan Modernism. The association offers artists space to work, exchange ideas, and develop their skills. Drawing has formed the basis of its activities from the very beginning, with a particular focus on drawing from live models. In addition, there are workshops for printmaking, sculpture, and photography. Throughout its history, the association has been associated with both representatives of Modernism and artists from the avant-garde. Courses and mutual exchange support the development of diverse artistic methods.
