"Throughout art history, women have been depicted as objects of beauty and contemplation. These artistic nudes provide ample evidence that the beauty that women exude has not been diminished by our dismally egalitarian era." - Monice du Soir
AJ Barnes (USA, 1962) received a Master of Arts Degree from Ohio University in 1989 after completing an arts education at Wayne State University in 1985. He is a former editorial photographer who produced much of his personal work on Polaroid instant film. With the demise of the Polaroid corporation in 2004 he began working with the wet collodion process, an antique glass plate technique invented in 1851.
