Deze foto is er een uit een grote reeks van beelden die gemaakt zijn in en rond het ouderlijk huis van de kunstenares van de Pals. Ze laat veranderingen zien die zijn ontstaan door het overlijden van de moeder. Er ligt grote focus op omgangsvormen van vader en zoon met hun honden. Dit loopt enige jaren later over in een zichtbaar maken van een zorgproces tussen de 2 mannen in hun thuissituatie. Een 40-tal foto's werd in 2009 al aangekocht door het Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
