Beautiful painting of a crucified Christ in the essential Heyboer theme.
Very beautifully executed in bright, striking colors and bearing an urgent inscription by Heyboer:
do not go against meaning
Never defend yourself
Let them go, they are not
true and you stay free in
not to answer them"
Anton Heyboer
The work is framed in the original, silver-colored frame from the Anton Heyboer Gallery and features a commentary and dedication in felt-tip pen on the back by Petra Heyboer.
Truly a unique and powerful work by one of the Netherlands' greatest artists.
Collection only in The Hague / Scheveningen. Any delivery is subject to prior agreement and is always at the buyer's expense and risk.
