A triptych by Anton Heyboer from 1982. The large, colorful work titled "The Blind Animal, The Breath of Creation" is in top condition and is very beautifully and professionally framed. (There are some minor signs of use.) The work is actually supposed to consist of four parts. Unfortunately, part 2 is missing. (See the image of the complete work in Leo Duppen's book on pages 166/167.) The three parts can also be hung separately or as a triptych. The etchings, printed on Hahnemühle handmade paper, measure 107 x 78 cm. With the gold-colored wooden frames (by Hulsen, Amsterdam), each work measures 117 x 88 cm.
The original four-panel work was purchased in 1993 from the then Heyboer Galerie in Amsterdam for FL. 16,000.00! In other words, FL. 4,000.00 each. The purchase receipt is pasted on the back of one of the works. The work must be picked up in Driehuis. Delivery is also possible.
