Beautiful, original color lithograph by the renowned Israeli modernist artist Aryeh Lubin (1897–1980), titled "Pentecost" (Shavuot). This specific lot is an absolute bargain for collectors: it is number 1 of a very limited edition of only 85 copies worldwide (1/85). Historically, the very first copy in a print series is the most sought-after due to its optimal, fresh color quality and exclusivity. The work displays Lubin's iconic semi-abstract and Cubist style, with powerful blue and green tones against a warm, earthy background. The work is hand-signed in pencil by the artist in the lower left corner and numbered in the lower right corner.
