A pastel drawing from 1954 by the Dutch artist Bartholomeus Toebak (1921-1991). The drawing was made in the year he married Geessien van Vondel (1923-2003), on Wednesday, July 28, 1954, in Rotterdam.

Bartholomeus Cornelis Toebak (Rotterdam, July 27, 1921–Odoorn, July 7, 1991), watercolorist, graphic artist and painter.
-Education: Self-taught.
Bartholomeus ('Bart') Toebak spent a significant part of his artistic career in Rotterdam in the 1960s. Later, he moved to Drenthe, where he died in 1991.
