Bernadette Leijdekkers
Born in Utrecht in 1949
I have been active in the visual arts for over 45 years.
My work reflects who I am: positive, spontaneous, musical, and colorful, with a constant search for variety and dynamism.
Over the years, I've explored many facets of art and have always worked with great pleasure and dedication. I strive to bring color, form, movement, and emotion to life.
From paintings to bronze sculptures, from stone carving to photography, and not to forget the passion for the saxophone in the jazz world. Each discipline has brought me new insights and inspiration, and above all, immense and intense pleasure in what I do.
I still continue to experiment with materials that are new to me, which makes every project challenging and interesting.
The various creative expressions I practice are truly fulfilling to me. Art is my great passion, and I hope that everyone who sees my work, or already owns it, can find a little zest for life and energy in it.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to show my work at numerous exhibitions in galleries and fairs, which always inspires me to continue discovering and creating.
Art full of life, a life full of art.
Feel, discover and enjoy what I make.
