Bernard Aubertin - Burnt car

Bernard Aubertin 1934 - 2015 Bernard Aubertin was born in a suburb of Paris. Here he trained, after which he initially started painting self-taught in the style of Futurism and Cubism. He is very famous for his monochrome works. For the artist, the red in his works represents fire and blood. His works have an impersonal and anonymous character. Four years after the founding of ZERO by Heinz Mack and Otto Piene in Düsseldorf, he became a member of this experimental group. With this he reacted against Art Informel, Neo Expressionism. He was very interested in creating a new art with international roots and collaborations that would concretize new concepts and ideas. He lived and worked first in France and later in Germany.
