Woodcut by Bernard Essers, from the famous 1919 issue of the woodcutting magazine Wendingen. Cut in pear-shaped paper and printed on wafer-thin Japanese paper. Monogrammed in the plate at the bottom right. The image measures 23 x 21.5 cm. Considering its age, the condition is good; the sheet is slightly yellowed.
