This is a unique solid bronze torso figurine with a beautiful green patina. A snake coils elegantly around the body, directly referencing the Rod of Asclepius, the universal symbol of medicine and healthcare. The figurine is a corporate gift or conference award from 1991, bearing the inscription “Critical Choices in Health Policy – The Netherlands 1991”. The object resembles a stylized bronze or copper torso sculpture, comparable to modern or classical statues often offered on art and auction platforms. A special piece for collectors or enthusiasts of medical symbolism and art. Height 10 cm, width 8 cm, depth 3.6 cm. Weight 1644 grams.
