From the collaborative project "Contemporary Classical" of the Visual Arts Foundation, the Allard Pierson Museum Amsterdam and 55 renowned artists in the Netherlands. Based on the collection of the Allard Pierson Museum, the artists have done a contemporary reinterpretation of historical art and artifacts to show that history is always alive too. Only fifty-five linoleum prints were made for each artist's design, several of which were for the museum.

I have versions of some of the designs. A beautiful catalog of the project with background information is available. If you buy more than three of the works, you will receive them with them.
